1. What we collect

easysail stores the minimum needed to plan and re-evaluate sailing passages: email address, display name and avatar from the sign-in provider, route history you create, and (optionally) your Windy API key if you supply one. We do not sell personal data.

2. Cookies and storage

Bearer tokens, session helpers, locale, and route drafts live in localStorage on your device. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Bathymetry, weather, and AIS calls are proxied through our backend and cached in Redis to limit upstream traffic.

3. Third parties

Sign-in providers (Google, Apple, Telegram, Facebook) — only when you choose to use them.
Weather: Windy, Open-Meteo. AIS: MarineTraffic. Bathymetry: OpenTopoData/GEBCO. Geocoding: Photon (OSM).
Email delivery: SendPulse, used only for notifications you opted into.

4. Your rights

You can sign out, delete your account, or revoke API keys at any time from the in-app profile panel. To request a full export or deletion of stored data, write to [email protected].
